Compression stocking use following DVT: new patient handout available

Posted |

Clot Connect has a new patient education handout available on 'Compression stocking use following DVT'.

If you have had a blood clot in the leg (deep vein thrombosis-DVT) and have leg pain and swelling, your leg may feel better with compression stockings.   Compression stockings may also prevent post-thrombotic syndrome, a complication of DVT.  A new patient handout is available which explain the selection, use and care of compression stockings in detail.
